Through Cusco! part #4

Immediately after I stepped out of the plane I felt smth strange. First few minutes I even couldn’t realize whats going on but than I saw one picture on the wall of the airport with written “Welcome to Cusco 3500m alt”… I’ve never been somewhere before where the alt is more then 2000 m and it was always done gradually!!!! But that move today from 0m to 3500m gave me feeling that I’m on the moon! In a few minutes we were already in the taxi on the way to Urubamba Valley! And how shocked I was when the driver have proposed me some package with leaves inside – COCA LEAVES – and told me that I should chew them to normalize my pressure! (probably i really looked not so good:)) So Coca leaves are really legal here!
We’ll be back to Cusco in a few days! So that time we just passed through the city and started our trip to Urubamba Valley – the last night stop before to reach Machu Picchu.
Plaza de Armas you should visit for sure as its the main one here!
London time. London Eye.

I was really happy to see shadow of my plane while landing as it meant only one thing – the weather in London is sunny! London+Sun what could be better?
As it was impossible to enter Buckingham Palace at that time I could really suggest you to pay attention to the details! Buckingham palace gates – just look at it!
London Eye!!! Usually I’ve never back to such kind of sightseeing but this one is special!

I really had a proper dinner in Hakkasan 17 Bruton str. but I would like to pay your attention to dessert )) It was really amazing! And I really like the way they served coffee – it was nothing special but that small cap with the “hat” made it even more tasty )))
Lemon pot (lemon curd, meringue, crumble)
London time. Blue Cock. Christmas mood.

So here is my second day in London! On the way to London Eye I passed through Trafalgar square and after I gave a visit to Covent Garden Market.
The fourth plinth on the northwest corner was intended to hold an equestrian statue of William IV, but remained empty due to insufficient funds. The once vacant plinth has become a showcase for temporary artworks over the past few years. Giant Blue Cock by the German artist Katharina Fritsch was unveiled in London Trafalgar Square on 25 july 2013.
London started the Christmas preparation at early November! I’ve never seen something like this before… At Covent Garden Market you can already get the feeling of Christmas mood! Strange but nice ))
St Paul Cathedral, red busses and London’s iconic black cabs – I’m in London! No doubts!
