Fish Island (Isla de Pescado) in Bolivia is not really an Island and there aren’t any fish! Its just look like a fish from far away 🙂 In fact, this isolated mound of petrified coral and giant cacti is located within the Salar de Uyuni, of south-western Bolivia, 3,656 metres above sea-level. We’ve visited it while driving through Salar de Uyuni. And was really shocked to find out that people are living there! Specially I couldn’t believe to see that they are separating the garbage like plastic, paper etc.! This place is hard to reach but its really unforgettable!
Giant Cacti, lama and few families fully surrounded with salt – this is Isla del Pescado! And I’m pretty sure that such a place you’ll not find anywhere else in the world!
