Lanvin has finally found who will succeed Alber Elbaz. Brand’s new artistic director became Bouchra Jarrar, who will develop only women’s clothes.
After a week of rumours Bouchra Jarrar has been confirmed as Lanvin’s new artistic director. Her first collection for brand will make its debut during the spring/summer 2017 runway season.
“Her timeless style is in keeping with the style and values of our company,” Lanvin chief executive officer Michèle Huiban said in a statement today. By the way, Jarrar has really impressive experience in women’s clothes design. She launched her own couture label in 2010 after 15 years working in different fashion houses, including Balenciaga and Christian Lacroix Couture.
