So here is my second day in London! On the way to London Eye I passed through Trafalgar square and after I gave a visit to Covent Garden Market.
The fourth plinth on the northwest corner was intended to hold an equestrian statue of William IV, but remained empty due to insufficient funds. The once vacant plinth has become a showcase for temporary artworks over the past few years. Giant Blue Cock by the German artist Katharina Fritsch was unveiled in London Trafalgar Square on 25 july 2013.
London started the Christmas preparation at early November! I’ve never seen something like this before… At Covent Garden Market you can already get the feeling of Christmas mood! Strange but nice ))
St Paul Cathedral, red busses and London’s iconic black cabs – I’m in London! No doubts!
