Masayoshi Takayama was born in Japan and growing up working for his family fish market. His American food life started from a small casual kitchen serving both traditional Japanese dishes and American food. After appeared Ginza Sushi-ko in Beverly Hills and in 2004 he opened Manhattan restaurants Masa and bar Masa!
I’ve been here with my friends so had a possibility to try more! 🙂 and I want to tell that it was one of the best sushi in New York! My favorite one is roll sea urchin roe with avocado! Masa toro tartare caviar dish was also unbelievable!
Yes, it’s not cheap at all and for sure it’s not a place to go every day but it’s really “must visit at least one time”!
