I know it’ll sound strange but in Seychelles I was always hungry :)) You can ask “and what about fruits, seafood and Seychelles cuisine?”.
I asked the same questions to the main manager of the hotel, specially I wanted to ask these questions after I’ve ordered cocktail “Piña Colada” and they’ve prepared it with juice from the box and coco milk from the can (pay attention that it was one of the best hotels in Seychelles). Answers: we don’t have a lot of fruits here, only mango and pineapple but now it’s not a season and other fruits we should order from UAE but it’s not so profitable. If to speak about seafood we have “parrot fish”, but lobster and shrimps we should order from Australia. If it’s my first trip I’ll never write this post but I know how it could be and how it should be. Specially after all day full of activity I wanted to eat :)) I’ve been to five islands but the situation about food was consistently negative! To find fresh juice from something but not lime was almost impossible. If to speak about prices I want to say that it was really high and didn’t match the quality!
